Nioli Oil (Melaleuca Viridiflora)
Nioli oil is the essential oil obtained by steam distillation from the leaves of the Melaleuca quinquenervia tree.
Melaleuca quinquenervia tree is seen mainly in Madagascar, but also in various regions such as Australia, Papua New Guinea and America. Melaleuca quinquenervia tree, which is from the Myrtaceae family, grows up to 20 meters in height. It has long, green leaves. Cream or white colored bottlebrush shaped flowers begin to open towards the end of the first spring. It is a tree that grows mostly in wet areas such as stream beds.
